9. Change.
People will often attack things they don’t like, not things that are wrong. One of the things people don’t like is change. There are four prerequisites to effective change:
- a clear, shared vision;
- an internal capacity for change;
- an external pressure to change; and,
- actionable first steps.
If any one is missing, the chances of success are seriously reduced. Are any of these four prerequisites missing in your organization?
